Sharjah Police confiscates 168 e-scooters, bicycles for causing serious accidents

In the first quarter of 2022, Sharjah Police confiscated 168 e-scooters and bicycles for causing accidents. According to Lt Col Muhammad Alai Al Naqbi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of Sharjah Police, a traffic campaign was initiated to educate the public about observing traffic regulations. Al Naqbi explained that the campaign was published in several languages and mediums, which demonstrated the negative consequences of improper use of electric bicycles and failure to follow traffic guidelines.
