Security drills begin in Ajman, UAE residents warned against taking photos

UAE issues warning against taking photos of security drills in Ajman, Umm Al Quwain

  The UAE’s Ministry of Interior began security drills in Ajman on Monday (June 20), while warning the public against taking photographs of the sensitive exercises. Security exercises will be held in Umm Al Quwain on Wednesday. The ministry urged residents to stay away from the exercise sites, and to make way for police units in the area. The security drills will involve military units and helicopters, according to the Ministry of Interior. Under the UAE law, it is illegal to take photos or videos of restricted areas such as military areas, royal palaces, courts, embassies and government buildings.
