Ramadan 2022: What are working hours in UAE?

  DUBAI – Private and public sector employees in the UAE will have shorter work hours during Ramadan, authorities have announced. For private sector workers, office hours will be reduced by two hours during Ramadan, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation. For government employees, working hours will be from 9am until 2:30pm from Monday to Thursday, and from 9am until 12pm on Friday. On Fridays, government can also grant flexible hours and remote work options for up to 40 percent of its workforce. Employees need to get approval in order to work remotely.
