Why did Kobe Paras choose Creighton?

CEBU CITY – Philippine basketball star Kobe Paras has made it clear why he chose Creighton University over other schools in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) of the US. Paras announced on Monday his move to Creighton University following his withdrawal from UCLA. In a video released by Middlebrooks Basketball, Paras said he feels like he is treated more of a family than just a varsity player at Creighton University. The Filipino forward thanked coaches at the university for their trust, adding that “they really showed me a good time and what Creighton is all about and it's not just about studies and it's not just about basketball it's about being one family it's about being selfless which makes sense that I will fit in in a community like that". Paras added that his family is his inspiration in pursuing his dreams and career in basketball"> "It made so much sense for me that dreams don't necessarily have to be one dream, one dream can explode to different things and I'm happy that there are a lot of coaches that hit me up after the incident," Paras said, referring to his unexpected exit from UCLA. Paras is hoping to help Creighton return to the NCAA Tournament after missing out in the past two years. Creighton opens its season in the Big East Conference against Wayne State on November 4.
