Biker performs stunts and has no driving license in Dubai, arrested

The Dubai Police arrested a GCC national for having no driving license and for riding an unlicensed quad bike while performing dangerous stunts on the main road. The 21-year-old young man was captured performing the said stunts and then fled the scene after falling off the vehicle. The video was shared online which prompted the arrest by the Dubai Police. Colonel Rashid Mohammed Saleh Al Shehhi, Acting Director of Bur Dubai Police Station wanted to emphasize that the Dubai Police will not tolerate behavior and violations that threaten the safety of road users and citizens. The man will be issued several traffic tickets for reckless driving that could endanger fellow road users, riding an unlicensed vehicle, driving without a driving license, and fleeing the scene of the accident. He is also now referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action. Colonel Al Shehhi urged members of the community not to share such videos to avoid leaving a negative impact on society. The public is instead encouraged to report reckless drivers or similar violations to 901 or via the Police Eye service on the Dubai Police smart app. KSO/Expat Media
