New Dubai bus route launched, 4 bus services to resume starting May 19

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced the launching of a new bus route in Dubai and the restoration of four intercity bus services starting from May 19. The new route F38 will launch from Jumeirah Golf Estates Metro Station and pass by several districts until Dubai Sports City. The F38 metro link will start at 6am until 12:30am (next day) with the frequency of 20 minutes. The four intercity bus services that will resume its operations in Dubai are E100 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station to Abu Dhabi, E201 from AL Ghubaiba Bus Station to Al Ain, E315 from Etisalat Metro Station to Muwaileh, Sharjah, and E700 from Etihad Bus Station to Fujairah. RTA also introduced several changes to some routes. Route 50 and Route N30 will be extended to reach International City Bus Station. The frequency of Route D03 and D03A is now merged to Route D03. Route 367 will also be extended to pass through the School of Research Science. The introduction of new route and the route changes were made by the RTA to cater to the demand of public transport as COVID-19 cases lessened. Adel Shakeri, Director of Planning and Business Development, Public Transport Agency, RTA emphasized that the agency is in cooperation with the government, semi-government entities, and private companies to deliver excellent public transport solutions and receive requests that would improve services in the emirate.
