Expo 2020 Dubai New Year’s Eve celebrations you shouldn’t miss

  DUBAI – With iconic places in Dubai planning their own elaborate New Year’s Eve celebrations, Expo 2020 Dubai also has big surprises planned for visitors. Expo 2020 Dubai will have a 13-hour celebration on New Year’s Eve, with festivities kicking off at 3pm on December 31 and going all the way until 4am on January 1. Drones will dot the sky to countdown to 2022, with the first explosive fireworks show to light up the sky at midnight to usher in the new year. A second fireworks display will light up the skies over Expo 2020 Dubai at 3am. Visitors can buy a Festive Pass for Dh95, which offers unlimited entries to Expo 2020 throughout December and until January 7. The Dubai Metro will run continuously throughout New Year’s Eve.
