Air taxis in Dubai could take off by 2026

The first air taxis in Dubai could start to take off by 2026 following an agreement signed in The Palm by a business aviation services operator. Falcon Aviation Services signed a Letter of Intent to operate up to 35 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Deliveries are expected to start in 2026, making it the first time that air taxis for tourist flights will be introduced in Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai. Captain Ramandeep Oberoi, CEO of Falcon said the company is partnering with Eve Holding Inc. to “be the first operator of eVTOL in Dubai and the MENA region”. “The launch of this concept fully aligns with the Smart Dubai vision and will contribute to positioning Dubai as a global leader in sustainable Urban Air Mobility transportation," Oberoi said.
